Produced by the family owned Ceramica Palopo cooperative in San Antonio Palopo near Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. All mugs are lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe; however, we recommend hand-washing these mugs. These mugs are hand made using a natural earthenware glaze and over time the interior of the mug will show intricate pattern of crazing lines (designs similar to spider webs). The appearance of these patterns are a sign that this is genuine hand made pottery.
